In 2008, Earl joined the team at Carlson Consulting Engineers, providing all manner of surveying and construction staking services.

Earl successfully completed the two year  Survey Education Course offered by the Professional Land Surveyors of Ohio, Cleveland Chapter and attended Cuayahoga Community College in 1982.
